   • Timeline: Month 0–12, leverages natural wind tunnels

4. Desert Hybrid Pilot (Yazd/Esfahan Plains)
   • Capacity: 200 MW (100 MW solar + 100 MW wind)
   • Cost: $200 million
   • Jobs: ~20 000 mixed‐tech crews
   • Timeline: Month 0–12, tests co‐located solar/wind synergy

Year 1 Totals:
• Capacity: 1.8 GW
• Cost: $1.8 billion
• Jobs: ~230 000
• Power: ~1.8 GW powering ~1.3 million homes, cutting blackouts by 80%
